Tossed the oversized white flour chabata bread and ate part of Teh Burger. More complex but not large house salad. We know a big North County company that held events here and we warned that the food was bad, but we wanted to check it out ourselves. I hope they come back to taste and texture instead of this attempt to impress with unusual decisions. I like the Stone company. I'll try again.
Wow! Amazing beer selection and excellent unique food. Pretzels as starters were a good warm-up. The Chicken Schnitzel was really tasteful and veggies a great compliment. The Sausage Platter was definitely my favorite-only sharp enough-real good. Amazing kids meals too. They were really unique to tasty “drilled” Cheese sandwich (fresh craft bread and white cheese) and potato bread.
The selection of different beers was great, but if you were there for dinner I would think twice. I ordered the ****. It was dry and boiled over. I had to bring it back twice. I ordered the flat iron steak for the third time. Steak was acceptable. But the service was pretty good. When someone who owns a restaurant, I was disappointed by the quality of food and the selection of beer. I would not recommend Stone Brewing World Bistro Garden for a romantic dinner, but maybe a place for cocktails.
This place has everything for it... except the food. We've been there twice and both times we were all very disappointed with food. Every attention was given to the incredible restaurant with the impressive brewery on the one hand and a fantastic rock garden on the other, if only so much attention was given to the menu that sounds great, but bland and boring. Very, very disappointing.
I wanted to go to the brewery since they opened and finally got there last Friday. He was there at 7:00 and had to wait 40 minutes for a table. I expected this and my husband and I got drinks at the bar (beer for him wine for me) and went the gardens. I loved it. The food was well prepared and beautifully presented. Our server was very friendly, but the service is a little slow. Again, I was prepared and could enjoy myself at the Leisurley Tempo. The portions are right for me. Fill, but you will not feel filled. You can comfortably eat an appetizer and dessert. Definitely save a little space for dessert and get the chocolate pyramid. It was the best chocolate dessert I ever had (and I had a lot).
