Stürhus - Esens

We had a meat platter for 2 people! Plenty of vegetables, meat, fried potatoes and baked potatoes. It 's also fantastically delicious I hope I can somehow get the recipe for the red sauce! Service was friendly, even to our four legged friend and quick! Great ambience and the price is totally okay! We would definitely like to come back! Update May 27, 2024: I 'm celebrating my birthday on vacation (I 'm 'zero ', so something special) Reserved a table there 3 weeks ago because I wanted a special restaurant. On site: closed due to illness We eat out almost every day for the 2 weeks. My complaint: You can always get sick...but please cancel the reservations. Then I could have rescheduled! Not a nice 'birthday present ' From 5 to 1 star within seconds...‍ We guests are also expected to cancel which I always do!

We went to the Stürhus on good luck without reservation. The boss offered us a place at the counter, which we liked to take. We drank a little bit and could eat at the table later... then it went back to the bar so that other guests could also enjoy their meal at the table. My husband and I were absolutely thrilled by the management of the owner who has dried the evening. In my eyes, it's totally uncompulsive - it's got everything under control. And so have a table reserved for Sunday. Although Friday was really a lot for the layman, Sunday came the question of a diesel and a diesel? That's exactly what it does. The food was very delicious on both days and we can only recommend it. Conclusion: No matter where we land in the next holiday in Ostfriesland, there will be a trip to the Stürhus
