Contribuisci feedbackExtremely disappointing. A friend and I went there for lunch and was glumly greeted as asked if we wanted a table for two. We elected to sit outside as the interior felt dark and dreary. We ordered a couple of plates combined with tea for one and a can of coke. Disappointingly, the tea had almost no leaves and so just tasted like hot water. The plates (high price for what they are) were even more disappointing. The steamed dumpling tasted like dish water and the pork buns were flavourless. The fried prawn and pork wontons weren't what they should be; instead we had some filling folded to the bottom of a deep fried pastry. The fried rice was probably the best, however I wouldn't pay $11 for a plate of that quality again. All in all the service was dreary, the food was disappointing and the price was high. Would not recommend.
I've been visiting this restaurant for years. Food is always cooked fresh and delicious. Flavour flavour flavour
Out for lunch on a lovely sunny day..... Very nice sitting out the front watching the world go by. Dum Sum was great. lovely variety and fresh flavours.
I often frequent this restaurant/take away as the service is quick. The food is clean and prices reasonable. It's a small restaurant that seems to have a steady flow of patrons. However, my experiences are only based on take away meals. The main dishes are around $14 with cheaper for entrees. I really like their beef, chicken, fried rice and their calamari . Very tasty and with added chilli is a good meal. The only disappointment I've had is with their Shanghai Dumplings... take away ones are too tough!! I've had them three times now and disappointed every time. I Would recommend this restaurant.
Any's is a very small restaurant in Essendon that has a loyal following. The food is very fresh and very good. There is a wide range of dumplings and other meals to choose from. Considering the quality of the food the price is very reasonable. It can be noisy when the place is full but that is part of the experience. Many of my friends eat here again and again. It's always my go to choice when I feel like yum cha and it's much easier to get to to, than heading off to the city. You go there for the food, not the look of the place. Check it out earlier in the week when it might not be as packed.
