Berda's Roadside Eatery - Essex

Honestly, when my wife and I moved to Essex, one of the biggest factors for me was closer to Berdas. This is the ultimate food truck in Chittenden County. Great food (local, shaved beef and products! , great prices and excellent customer service. The burgers are as delicious as the duck fats. Berdas is definitely worth your time.

We stopped for a late lunch today with a Jump On It coupon. We had a great avocado burger and a duck boat and a couple of root beers. Friendly staff and a family atmosphere. They just opened and are still adding some things like a license for beer and wine. Being retired we really like the WCAX Jump On It coupons as it gives us a chance to try places we might not otherwise hear of. We 'll be back.

From Georgia to Essex for a roadside food joint? Can't wait to go back, outstanding food and service. This place should be an example to all local businesses vying for our hard earned money.

The husband and I stopped in to check out Berdas after seeing an article in SEVENDAYS. He had a hamburger with fries (the best fries I've tried in a long time! and I had a bacon cheeseburger. I was disappointed they didn't have some ingredients for some of the burgers on the menu. We also had the mac and cheese bites which deserve 10 stars! Service was quick and friendly. We will be back!

Tonight we visited Berdas for the first time and it will definitely not be our last. Service was fast and friendly. At our table we had the three times thick grilled cheese, avocado burger, sticky burger and my fave the breakfast burger together with a large number of duck fats and the steak and Portabella soup... each single dish and bowl was empty at the end. Oh, and let's not forget the side of the fat-cut bacon because, why not? Thanks for a great dinner! Next week
