Cafe Mediterano - Essex

Best gyro I've had outside of NYC. Absolutely fresh and shaved super-thin. Just found my new go-to for NYC-style Mediterranean food in Chittenden. This is the real deal.

Absolutely the best Greek salad! Lots of really fresh ingredients. I don't care for the oil dressing....so I just use my own at home. Delicious baklava!!!

This was really disappointing food, I ordered a gyro wrap and it was just tortilla and rice with a few pieces of lamb you could hardly taste. really bland

Don't let the location fool you this is a tasty cafe. This is quality gyro, hummus, and falafel. I suggest the gyro,chicken, and falafel combo. Be hungry because it'll fill you up. Top it off with their tzatziki sauce.

The new location is awesome. The decor and dine in seating is pleasant modern bistro style. The best gyros in the area and a must go-to place for lunch if you work in Essex. I love the gyro on the traditional roll.... It is huge and the roll is perfectcompliment and pushes the goodness to next level ????.
