Sweet P's - Essex

I paid nearly $10 for a smoothie, took a couple of sips, and found that it didn't taste right. When I asked if I could exchange it for a different one, the cashier refused. She wouldn’t allow me to switch it out or give me a refund. Instead, she told me to get back in line and purchase something else. I was shocked that she let me leave feeling unsatisfied. What kind of customer service is that? I won't be returning.

Exceptional ice cream! The ambiance in this town is delightful. I tried the peanut butter flavor, and it was simply fantastic. Although it's a cozy spot, it's definitely worth your visit. Ice cream should genuinely aim to bring joy rather than just be elaborate, and this place nails it when it comes to making outstanding ice cream. Keep in mind, they operate seasonally and close after October, so it's definitely a place you don't want to miss while they're open!

Alongside a rotating selection of two dozen ice cream flavors, Sweet P's also has a variety of other treats, including milkshakes, soda floats, sundaes, affogato, strawberry shortcake, frozen lemonade, smoothies, and acai bowls. My wife and I recently visited Sweet P's while celebrating our anniversary and staying at the nearby Griswold Inn. As we explored the local shops, we stumbled upon the ice cream parlor. After perusing the menu, I chose a scoop of Essex Mud and a scoop of Pumpkin Gingersnap, while my wife opted for a scoop of Oreo and a scoop of Salted Caramel. Being fans of Ashley's Ice Cream, we were already expecting delicious flavors, and we weren't disappointed. We enjoyed our ice cream cups in the charming relaxation garden, soaking in the lovely autumn weather. We will definitely make a point to return!

Had a great visit! Found everything we were looking for. The prices were excellent, and the service was very friendly.
