Carpe Diem - Esslingen am Neckar

Very nice relaxing place for lunch or even dinner. Nice Italian pizza & pasta at fair prices in a nice atmosphere. Well worth a visit.

Good food, friendly service, but not a large menu selection or large wine selection. Personal service and real italian.

Arrived at a hotel close by at to be told that chef had gone and kitchen closed so no bar food even!! (very Fawlty Towers). Tried restaurants in Esslingen to be told they closed at Found this little nugget of a restaurant...also closing up but they were brilliant and made us very welcome and produced the complete menu for us. Nothing was too much trouble and the Pizzas we ordered were fantastic!! Will definitely visit this restaurant again next time we are on business there.
