Sloppy Joe's - Etobicoke

Their chicken wings were always some of the best I've had. Giant, plump, tender, juicy, and definitely filling. Then I ordered via Uber Eats recently, they were not as I remembered. Not as giant, not as plump, still tender, but kinda dry, still kinda filling though. I wasn't as enthused as I used to be. Maybe I'll need to dine-in to get the wings from yesteryear.

Let's be honest here, it's a dated beer and wings joint. Plenty of screens to watch you game, plenty of beer on tap (or in cans) and simple pub grub. However, it is local and it's clean. Price wise it's not as cheap as it once was; but where is now? Grab a beer, watch the game and leave happy.

Best wings in the GTA, but their prices have gone completely insane. $35 for 20 wings and $5 extra if you want 2 different sauces. I've been coming here for years and am honestly really bummed out that I won't be returning due to price increases. I know everything is more expensive these days but 20 wings and a couple beers shouldn't cost me $80.

In town from the US on a family vacation and we had no idea where to go for dinner plus we had a specific request of a wrestling show we didn't want to miss. The staff at Sloppy Joe's were more than happy to put on our show. The beer was cold and the food was excellent. It was a little more expensive than I expected (FYI refills on kids drinks are not free), but everyone left there happy.
