Eating was good. nothing special. we enjoyed the appetizers, the moules were a bit missing taste in the season! as they cannot reserve, there is always a line before. not the favorite place in etretat!
Nice little place serving classical food from Normandy. Super friendly and helpful staff. Very family and dog friendly. The food on offer is classic Normandy home cooking, the ingredients of high quality. We had the mussels with white wine sauce and with the sauce of...the day, both were fantastic, the kids had the local sausage, and the chicken nuggets kids dish. We had the very good local beer to go with it, the white wine recommendation was equally good, plus they had a 20 year old really good calvados. Absolutely recommendable and a dream of a restaurant in a tourist town. The prices were fair.
This is definitely the best restaurant we jumped into in Etretat. Waiters were very attentive and kind, they explained each dish in perfect english. The moules Normandy I ate were so far the best I ate in the region and the BBQ meat was really...well cooked on embers. They have good wines and beers. Last but not least, the price are honest.
I had a fish soup and my spouse hade had mussels. It felt they they forgot about us a couple of times. The couple that came much after us were served much faster. The mussels was good but soup was just OK, not even close...to fish soup I ate in Buggee. It was a big line at the opening time around 12, we assume it was a good sign, and when we came in we had to wait. No complains about it.
