Contribuisci feedbackBeautiful winery with many new facilities financed in good part by the European Union. Sadly, only limited service of food and staff during the week. But this should not take away from the great pool which is worth booking for an afternoon and to have some wine on the lounges while being able to take a swim to cool down periodically. Overall very clean and comfortable. Food can be hit or miss and service is as everywhere in Hungary you have to accept what it is. Nothing to write home about.
The estate and the surroundings are stunningly beautiful, truly captivating and provide an exclusive experience. HOWEVER, the list of positives has unfortunately blown out here... We had a table reservation for 4 people, but when we got there, one of the servers said that he couldn 't find the reservation, we must have made a reservation for another day by accident (we made a reservation on Saturday for Sunday, on the phone saying tomorrow, so it couldn 't really be interpreted as another day . In principle, this would not have been a problem, there was plenty of space in the restaurant, but the waiter 's instructive style leaves something to be criticized. After we sat down, we received the welcome drink and the menus... and that 's about all that happened, from then on no one looked at us. Apart from us, there were about 4 seats inside and 2 seats outside, I wouldn 't say the staff were overworked, but after waiting 15 20 minutes we had to wave them off so we could finally order. When ordering, I said that I would like to request the chosen dish without yogurt due to allergies, I emphasized this twice. Of course I got it with yogurt. The food was served in chaos, no one knew what to put in front of them, what cutlery, which part of the table to pack and what. My partner ordered a steak, which the waitress just circled around the table with, and when we told her to put it down, she calmly put it down in front of me, I quote: And you want to eat it from this hot iron plate? as it turned out later, they planned to bring a plate as well. There 's no problem with hiring novice servers, but is there really no one to coordinate their work? The waitress took it back in the middle of apologizing. We also ordered a bottle of wine, which was placed on the table, but no one poured a decit into our glass, nor did they take care of refilling it. We have been to more than one restaurant of a similar category, but we have never experienced similar condescending treatment in these places. With such prices, you can expect guests to feel and not just see that this is a special and outstanding place where the prices reflect the quality. I 'm sorry that the estate only focuses on appearances, we 'll leave it to the target audience, who represented themselves while we were there: the people who live and show off to the outside world, whose first job is to have themselves photographed from all angles, so that they can post on Instagram what fancy place they bake the their bellies. Who cares what 's inside, right? :
I recently had the unfortunate experience of visiting a restaurant with a poolside setting, and I must say, it was far from enjoyable. The combination of subpar service and an unkempt pool left me utterly disappointed. Allow me to elaborate on the numerous issues I encountered during my visit. To begin with, the pool itself was in a deplorable state. It was disheartening to see the pool water filled with algae and dirt, clearly neglected and devoid of proper maintenance. Such conditions are not only unappealing but also raise concerns regarding hygiene and guest safety. The disappointment continued when we ordered a vegan antipasti plate, only to be served a completely different dish that did not match the description on the menu. The lack of attention to detail and disregard for dietary preferences was both frustrating and unprofessional. Additionally, the head waiter failed to inform us about the contents of the dish we had ordered, leaving us in a state of confusion and dissatisfaction. Furthermore, what added insult to injury was the fact that we were expected to pay for the welcome drink. It is customary for a welcome drink to be complimentary, and it was disheartening to see this basic gesture of hospitality being overlooked. This incident further exemplified the restaurant's lack of regard for customer satisfaction. Overall, my experience at the poolside restaurant was extremely disappointing. The unsanitary pool conditions, the mismatched food, and the additional charge for a welcome drink all contributed to a lackluster visit. I had hoped for a pleasant dining experience, but instead, I was met with disappointment and frustration. I strongly advise others to reconsider visiting this establishment until significant improvements are made in their service and attention to detail.
Fantastic food, a wonderful view (it would have been if it wasn't raining and foggy) and delicious wines!
Just one of the best most comprehensive wineries in Hungary. A must visit full of history and class
