Contribuisci feedbackThat looks like a man with the boxmaster/owner of the show. He was very personal and friendly. The place was clean and tidy. You even had a pool table. I don't know how BBQ is prepared, but I ate a lot of it. The cattle breeze was moist and fresh. It has a heavy smoked taste with bitter notes. The ribs were dropped off the bones, but I prefer my ribs to pass the only bite test. The bite mark visible on the rib without tearing off additional meat. The sausage was okay. The sauce is made house and has a beautiful tangy sweetness with a good consistency. The beans get a 7 out of 10... another few hours of cooking time and they would score higher to the taste. The house made potato salad was also a fine offer.
My husband stopped here on his bike tour from the city and took up so much brisket and chicken to get home surprised. I never eat Brisket and have no taste for it... but that was so good and the sauce is almost incomparable to others. The chicken was dry and didn't care at all, but the brisket and the sauce outweigh everything I could carelessly. Will definitely return.
Birds have delicious food, great portions and a good price. This is our second time to visit this bbq joint. The owner is super nice and attentive. We'll be back safely during our next trip from ATX.
Drove here from Houston and looking for lunch and happened on this gem. Bobby, the owner was super nice and visited us for a while. The sausage and brisket was the best we've ever eaten. Will definitely be back. We recommend this place very much.
The BEST BBQ in Burnet! This humble location is a diamond in the rough. The BBQ Brisket is not too salty and perfectly smoked. The owner 's friendly service and passion for BBQ makes this a hidden gem in the hill country.
