Contribuisci feedbackAfter reading reviews we decided to make reservations for our 10th anniversary. The quaint cabin was nice and inviting. All of the staff were friendly. Our waitress was great with recommendations, our drinks were never empty and the food was so good! Highly recommended trying it out.
Very disappointed.... I had the $50 prime rib special and I ordered it medium rare and it came well done. I sent it back. The waitress was very rude. The prime rib came back, medium and not very hot and dry. We had reservations for 830 and didn't get seated till, 915. The salad was just about half a cup of lettuce, two cherry tomatoes, and one ring of onion. On the other hand the bread that came with our salad was very good. It was the best part of the meal. I've had much better prime rib elsewhere and made better prime rib than that. We won't be going back to Gaskins cabin to eat again, we will stick with eating in Shell Knob Mo at our favorite place The Steak Inn.
This little “Off the beaten Path”Gaskins cabin. Has a wonderful ambience, fantastic menu, and way above average food. The wedge salad was amazing, I did the fillet, my wife did the ribeye- both were cooked to perfection and our server Dawn, really made the experience better. she knew the menu inside and out and really helped my picky wife decide. Dawn was on it all night long. We would highly recommend.
Best meal we've had in a long time! Any my husband is a music junkie and loved the music they played there. And I would give anything in the world to have the recipe for the burgundy mushroom soup! Absolutely to die for! We will definitely be going back!
Over all pretty good. Unfortunately, my prime rib was cold. At least the au juis was hot. I will go back and give it another shot.
