Grotto Wood-fired Grill And Wine Cave

My wife and I were fortunate to snag a reservation with a day's notice while in town for a weekend getaway. The atmosphere makes this place truly unique. The menu is diverse, and everything we had tasted tremendous. I loved my smoked duck, and our server was attentive and friendly. I would highly recommend eating here.

Dinner was outstanding. Allyson did a terrific job of serving and checking on us just the right amount of times.

First visit tonight and everything was more than excellent. We made reservations and was celebrating a special night. The staff had set aside a nice quiet table in the back for us. I was pleasantly surprised at how they attempted to work in those without reservations. We will plan another trip to Eureka Springs so we can dine here again. Parking: You can park a few blocks for $5. We changed our planned clothing and shoes to more casual to accommodate the blocks walk, which was pleasant.

The food was great…the problem our table had was with the live entertainment, at the top area. It was too loud. It was so loud, our server got our order wrong, probably from mishearing us. It was so loud, we could no longer carry on a conversation among ourselves. It was so loud, we scarfed down our food because we couldn’t get out of there fast enough; even though the order was wrong (But, it was good food). To make matters worse, the singer could tell that we were not enjoying his singing, then it became an adversarial act… I saw him get louder, more obnoxious, and started, including cuss words in his lyrics. We left angry. Since when did anger become part of the dining experience?

The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was nice and inviting. The food was also very good and plating as well, but somewhat limited as all the plates are the same. We still had a very enjoyable evening. ? Parking: Parking was difficult with no parking signs everywhere. One paid parking lot about two and a half blocks down the road with about three free parking spaces on the street.
