The steak was cooked perfectly juicy and tender; the baked potato was great, and the carrots were actually delicous think they cooked or marinated them in honey, maybe??? Added a nice sweetness to them. Definitely a no frills type of place, but was an excellent home cooked steak platter.
We stumbled on this wonderful restraint during the 2024 total eclipse. it was an incredible experience, the waitstaff was outstanding and did terrify handling the rush of people that had, service was friendly and prompt, the food was delicious, I especially enjoyed the duck and pretzel. my spouse loved the clam po-boy. the staff had even put together a great commemorative glass (I had to get two). the fun friendly atmosphere was perfect for the viewing the eclipse and it was an incredible experience.
Great place to grab lunch while out on the sled. Friendly atmosphere hreat
Addy, our server, was a step above! So fast serving us drinks and dinner, almost perfectly timed for everything! We were looking for a simple low key local place, with a good reputation, that we didn't have to dress up for our 16th anniversary. As everyone recommended, we went with the Prime Rib for two, and weren't disappointed! It was a little busy near the bar, so we asked to be seated in probably the most quiet area of the restaurant, and it was no question. We sat in a quiet area of the restaurant by ourselves and enjoyed a well prepared meal. As a gay couple, in an area that might not always be friendly to us, we were truly impressed by the kind and friendly service we received! Y'all could've given me a larger portion of those delicious mashed potatoes and gravy, considering the bucket of fries my partner got, or maybe a bigger slice of that amazing cheesecake we had for dessert. Overall though, it was a great meal, and we felt welcomed, would definitely recommend to anyone in the future!
Food was OK, but a tad expensive. Not surprising as they are packed with snowmobilers.
