We showed her the confirmation email (on the phone), but it did not make any difference how we sat, watched and waited how others sit directly with reservations. The food is good and should be recognized as that. The restaurant has delicious fresh food, plentiful portions and a decent selection of menus, although a minority of authentic Greek dishes. The wine list offered a solid selection at reasonable prices. It should be recognized that you should not expect anything near a fine culinary experience. Why the recomendation? Acropolis is what it is, what a good (not big) regional opportunity would be to taste delicious food.

We enjoyed our dinner very much. This was a special occasion, my wife's birthday, and this was our first time at Acropolis. Our only problem was they didn't have us on their reservation list. I had received a confirmation from Open Table but evidently Acropolis didn't receive it. Fortunately for us there were tables available and we were seated immediately in a very nice spot upstairs
Lunch meeting here on Friday. Well kept secret in Evansville. Food and service was outstanding. A hidden gem. Will be back the next time I'm in E'Ville.
