Bally's Evansville

Had a great time. Didn’t know what to expect since change over. The room was fantastic. The food was definitely a nice change. I would recommend for a weekend getaway or small vacation. Location is even nice.

We visited the Casino due to another change in ownership. Was the Tropicana, now it 's Bally 's! Ever since they floated the Casino boat away and went to dry land, we been PAYING for the new Casino, over and over. Was told by their Rewards Center, that they are not associated with Casesar 's.

This is about the casino, I didn't stay in the hotel: It's bright and fun. Plenty to do, lots of space to move around. Free coffee and sodas. Staff is kinda rude, but I imagine they're as stressed as the rest of us so it's understandable. No one really around to ask a question other than security, but at least you can feel safe. It's easy to get in and out of the parking lot. Several food choices.

Bally's is a bit dated in its decor. But our room was perfect overlooking the Ohio River. Since it caters to both smoking and non-smoking clientele, I had a bit of a problem, for you just can’t tell smoke to stay in one area. But I would certainly return.

Despite this, we didn't let it ruin our overall experience. The casino floor was enjoyable, featuring a great selection of machines ranging from classic to modern. All the machines were relatively clean and in good working order. The staff we interacted with were fantastic, particularly the bartenders. In summary, we had a good time during our stay, but the condition of our room really impacted my overall rating.
