We went to celebrate my husbands 66th birthday and he ordered a sirloin steak. When it came they brought the plates covered with silver covers to the table. When they uncovered the plates there was an almighty stink and we didn't know what it was until he cut into his spongy piece of meat on his plate. He handed the piece he had cut to me and I couldn't have put it in my mouth if you had paid me it smelt so awful. We sent it back and we were told it was a new pact he chef had opened and he couldn't open another! So my husband ate the same as me Guinea fowl in leek sauce served with a handful of frozen potatoes reheated and a spoonful of leeks. Then we decided to order a dessert to make up for it once again he was really disappointed his "café glacé" was an inch of watery coffe with a ball of ice cream floating in it and half a glass of spray whipped cream. All that wonderful meal came to 150 Swiss francs ( one glass of white wine and 3 decilitres of red out of an open litre) We were offered a "limoncello " as compensation for being served rotten meat!Don't really think we will be returning not recommending it. Apparently it was the butchers fault and the chef had a "slight cold" so he couldn't smell it!
After scouting for about 50km for a suitable lunch stop I found this place.I got a warm welcome and chose the plat du jour - which was excellent. The service was friendly snd efficient and the pricing reasonable given that this is Switzerland. I was very happy with my lunch stop!
