Contribuisci feedbackWe use to visit this restaurant in family quite often, because we love to visit Evolène and show the village to friends visiting us from the other part of the country. When we go to Evolène with friend or family, we always go eat at... La paix , which is one of the best restaurant in Evolène. The place is nice, the terrace is nice, there are plenty of thing in the menucard, even for vegetarians (i 'm one). Polenta is great, fondue eaten in bread pan is great, raclette au feu de bois, salad buffet, meat on stone, you should come often to taste all the good meals they serve there !
Last day before coming home we had lunch here and it was superb !! Service very good also . Would visit again next time we go out to Switzerland .
Pleasant atmosphere. Do not take a table facing the entrance door when it is fresh in the evening because it has been difficult to warm up ( tonight, August, 12 degrees outside .) I ordered a tartare. The meat was of very good quality and spicy as I wished. Unfortunately, the melon that accompanied her was tasteless (I come from a melon-producing region), and the industrial fries (damage! ) because everything would have been perfect.
Beautiful discovery thanks to the gourmet passport. Since then, we go there several times a year, with or without the pg. the welcome is always warmest and especially the quality of the dishes is always on top. an establishment that we love, essential during our stays in Mayan. children are welcome, even a changing table is available. We're coming and we're back.
Reception and service of high quality (thank you sylvia,) generous cuisine and selected products (beautiful local wine map), but one cannot serve a rib of beef with ordinary knives. and be careful, the hot stone on which the ribs arrive frantic does not cool and quickly the coast is too cooked, you just have to juggle between vegetables and meat but it also animates the meal that remains successful!
