We stayed here for one night while on the Haute Route. When we arrived we were told we did not have a reservation. Fortunately our guide had the confirmation indicating that we did but the manager had neglected to enter the reservation in his book....fortunately for us there was room 4 of us in a room with 4 bunks very old and rickety perhaps 1940's; the other part of the group was relegated to a room with 6 bunks all attached....again old and rickety. There were a couple of bathrooms throughout the place along with one shower room. There was a nice patio on the side which seemed very popular. Dinner was quite good considering spaghetti and meat sauce preceded by soup and followed by dessert. Rosemarie was the only server throughout the afternoon/evening very pleasant woman. Breakfast consisted of bread and buns and cheese and jam along with thermoses of hot water for tea and instant coffee so a bit on the thin side. Considering the hotel had no record of our coming we were grateful for a place to sleep and eat!

Stayed in the dormitory on half board for one night, the dinner was absolutely delicious and the dormitory area was very spacious and homely. Breakfast in the morning was disappointing (especially compared to dinner); no cereal on offer and only instant coffee or tea

Stayed here on our Haute Route hike. Had to double-check the reviews to make sure we were in the same place that other reviewers had raved about. We 2 of us in a room for 4. The room was dark and smelly and the floors and rugs had dirt chunks and the linens on the bed did not look clean. Men and women share two shower stalls and two toilets and a large sink area. There is reading material and a small lounge area inside. We enjoyed drinks in the outdoor patio and sitting out on the wrap-around balcony on the second floor. Dinner included a wonderful soup appetizer, but the main course was disappointing (canned vegetables, etc. . Breakfast was laid out the night before: a thermos of hot water for two with choice of instant coffee or tea bag, a small piece of processed cheese/butter/jam, a brotchen and a yogurt. The hosts were friendly and hard working, but look like they could use some additional help to run the place.

Ein schöner Ort, wo die heimeligen Dekorationen eine sehr authentische Atmosphäre schaffen, die durch einen sehr freundlichen und entspannten Service ergänzt wird. Wenn Sie hier Raclette bestellen, werden die Portionen vom Wirt vor einem Holzfeuer aus einem großen Käse geschmolzen und jede Portion wird von der Gastgeberin zu Ihnen gebracht, und zwar auf die freundlichste Weise und so viele Sie möchten. Als meine Freundin scheinbar weniger bestellt hatte, als für das Raclette volontär wäre, wurde sie gefragt, wie viele sie bestellt hatte, um möglicherweise auf einen Preis pro Portion umzusteigen, der möglicherweise billiger gewesen wäre. Nun, das ist Service!

Wir waren hier für eine Nacht während der Haute Route. Als wir ankamen, wurde uns gesagt, dass wir keine Reservierung hatten. Glücklicherweise hatte unser Führer die Bestätigung, dass wir es taten, aber der Manager hatte es versäumt, die Reservierung in seinem Buch einzugeben. . . . Zum Glück für uns gab es Zimmer 4 von uns in einem Zimmer mit 4 Kojen sehr alt und wackelig vielleicht 1940 '; der andere Teil der Gruppe wurde in ein Zimmer mit 6 Kojen verbannt alle anliegend. . . . wieder alt und wackelig. Es gab ein paar Badezimmer im ganzen Haus zusammen mit einem Duschraum. Es gab eine schöne Terrasse an der Seite, die sehr beliebt schien. Das Abendessen war ziemlich gut Spaghetti und Fleischsoße, gefolgt von Suppe und Dessert. Rosemarie war der einzige Server den ganzen Nachmittag Abend sehr angenehme Frau. Das Frühstück bestand aus Brot und Brötchen und Käse und Marmelade zusammen mit Thermosflaschen mit heißem Wasser für Tee und Instant Kaffee, also ein bisschen dünn. Angesichts der Tatsache, dass das Hotel keine Aufzeichnungen über unser Kommen hatte, waren wir dankbar für einen Platz zum schlafen und essen!
