Found this place on a street that was shady, and there was a outside table open. Sue Ellen from Brazil waited on us, with wonderful English. She is so up-beat and friendly, it made our day. We ordered a bottle of Herdade das Servas Colheita Seleccionada 2017 White Wine. It came in a bucket of ice! Yea! The boys ordered Bock beer, and we all ordered salads, and salami and bread. It was a perfect respite, on a very hot day. The salads were crispy and everything was tasty. But Sue Ellen was the star of the day....just a bubbly personality.
Horrible place takes forever. Was unable to stay for the meal it took so long. Tourist do not go here.
To be truthful we chose this restaurant because it was raining and it was near our hotel. But we were pleased we did. We shared a fish stew (not sure of the name) and really enjoyed it. Service was pleasant and obligiing, and it had the feel of a family run establshment, with reasonable prices. Having read other reviews I must confess I am surprised. Perhaps time to give it a try? We couldn't fault it.
