Saito And Pho - Ewa Gentry

I love that they have a tubu (tofu) garlic bahn mi, since I've found it hard to find non-meat options other places. I used to order that a lot, but I've stopped coming because the last three times the baguettes have been hard and dry. I don't know if they're using old and dried out bread or just making it poorly, but despite the good flavors, the texture makes it very unpleasant to eat (had literally scratched my mouth). I'm hoping someday they'll improve and I can become a regular customer again.

Tonight I ordered a large Pho one of many times. When I got home I was surprised to see the size. I have a bowl at home that I used to eat my Pho in usually I am unable to put the large portion in the bowl tonight there was room to spare in the bowl. Over the past months I have noticed the quality and size of the food has gone downhill. The last time I ate in the restaurant I ordered the Wafu Stake and the size was much smaller and there is so much tenderloin in the meat. Very disappointing.

After a few delicious bites I noticed something floating on the surface. Not sure what kind of bug but I couldn’t finish my food after that.

My family loves this place! I am pregnant, and haven't been able to enjoy any meat. My husband wanted to try this place, so we ordered the Kalbi BBQ. I thought I wasn't going to be able to have more than a small bite, because of my intolerance to meat. I was so glad we tried this place! I took more than just a bite, I finished everything. We love it! New favorite place! The food is so delicious!
