Bull Wren - EXCELSIOR

Food was fantastic. I had the Lamb Shank and Sticky toffee pudding. Very happy with my choices. Certainly elevated from your standard Bar/Pub fare.Service was friendly but slow.

Not sure what has happened here. We have been frequent diners here because we like the food and ambience, and service was usually good. But last night was an absolute disaster, saved only by a wonderful server who stepped in to take over for another server. I can't even go into everything that happened, as it would take too much time, but so many things were bungled, from the reservation itself to our seating and the procession of different servers who took our orders and disappeared. The food was good, as always, and the good server comped our drinks and desserts, but we would be hard pressed to return. Very disappointing for what we planned as a special night with special company.

Sophie and Tiffany were FUN-tactic bartenders. They were engaging. and attentive. Tasty cocktails, Yummy !

It is a beautiful and charming place. Delicious food choices and very polite staff. Briefly met the owner and was very pleasant as well. There is plenty of room so you can have your privacy, but you can also seat large groups like a wedding party. Highly recommend you visit this establishment.Parking: Free 3 hr parking behind building and use rear entrance.

Cozy, welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff. The Walleye fries, spinach and Feta dip was delicious! Lots of tap options, we'll be back!
