Great food, atmosphere is different, more casual than the former Exeter Inn restaurant.
Epoch Gastropub had a pleasant outdoor setting. The food was excellent, however they had run out of my husband's first choice. All three of our ordered meals were top-quality. Although our waitperson was attentive, service was on the slow side-perhaps due to being short-staffed?
What food they had was great...but they were out of several items at 7:00pm in an empty restaurant...hmmmm.
I was very disappointed with the 'wild mushroom gnocchi '. The so called gnocchi were not individual potato dumplings but instead were mushy slices of some kind of 'gnocchi roll ' probably frozen. The mushrooms were in an overbearing and salty sauce, and were likely a frozen concoction.
