This is the first restaurant that we can say is perfect at what it's supposed to be doing.The food, the service and the ambiance were not only without fault but also superb.We have only been for breakfast but will return for lunch and write another review.(They are not open for dinner)The owner Paul and our server Michelle were a joy. The Dashwood sausage and Michelle's home made baked beans were the best.Go!
We stopped for lunch and enjoyed a choice of quiche ...either vegetable or ham and mushroom. Both were very tasty and served with home fries and mayo. Very tasty with a bottomless cup of coffee! For desert there was a selection of home baked butter tarts also delicious. Paul the owner joined us for a few minutes to tell us about his Irish background and the memorabilia decorating the dining room. This is an excellent place for a variety of breakfasts on offer and some excellent lunch specials. It is definitely good value and worth stopping for a great lunch in a rural setting.
