The delivery-only service in Plymouth/Devonport may be considered a step down, but it still has all the traditional Harry Ramsden branding. After a day of gardening and drinking, we chose this local delivery option as it had the shortest wait time and seemed reliable. The order arrived much quicker than we expected, in a sturdy paper bag without any fancy insulation, but the food was still hot. There were plenty of salt, vinegar, and sauce packets included. The fish was a bit dry and the scampi coating was slightly hardened, but overall the meal was decent for the price. This was all enjoyed with plenty of good beer and wine outdoors.
The restaurant has a spacious area for bingo with friendly staff, but the bar was very disappointing on a Friday night. They were out of ice, had flat soft drinks, no Jack Daniels, and many drinks were overpriced at 2 for £5. In conclusion, the bingo facilities are great, but the bar needs better management and stocked inventory.
Good place to play and eat and drink are nice and the staff is very helpful
Building and very dated inside. very short staff. the today's caller was sometimes difficult to understand and not clear which ticketflyer. as an electronic player needed a new battery subway through a game, the caller made a point to say that she got a vodka while it was sorted and actually did! strangely, her mood has improved and she could be understood a little better. chips I ordered to be reheated from earlier. not the best bingo hall in which I was
The staff at this restaurant are very friendly and the entertainment is excellent.
