Rendezvous Wine - Exeter

I recently had a fantastic work Christmas party at Rendezvous. The food was of top quality, absolutely delicious, and clearly well-planned. The flavors were just amazing - I highly recommend this restaurant!

We had a reservation for 1:15, arrived a bit early expecting to have some drinks while we waited but unfortunately, we weren't greeted until 1:40 to take our food order. The meze plate was good, though the portion of hummus was quite small (about one tablespoon). My salmon entree was also on the smaller side, less than 100 grams in my estimation, and came with a scant amount of sauce. The vegetables were delicious and well-prepared. Desserts were a highlight, but overall not as satisfying as our previous visit to this restaurant.

This restaurant is excellent! We went there for lunch and the food was truly amazing. We ordered the fish for our main course and a delicious chocolate ganache for dessert. The service was also excellent.

Our time at Rendezvous was amazing. The place feels cosy and is very welcoming. The staff were really nice and helped us pick great wines for our meal. The steak was super tasty, and the cheese board was a treat. They know how to make things special, even the music and decor. If you want a really lovely meal out that feels cosy with really good food and wine, this is the spot. Totally recommend it for a great time with delicious eats and drinks!
