Would definitely go again We chose the cauliflower starter and the tofu fish n chips. Both really tasty and well cooked, we were too full for desert!
Really adorable restaurant with nice service. Have a good vegan menu including drinks, breakfast brunch, dinner and dessert
Fine for cocktails, but animal heads on the walls goes beyond quirky into the realms of revolting in my opinion, and the food is nothing to write home about.
I've been to Cosy Club in Exeter many times, and it is a bit hit or miss. Sometimes it's great, other times not so, and once they had run out of vegan mains which was very disappointing, especially as I had booked a table for my boyfriend's birthday meal! The vegan menu changes occasionally, but generally offers good options. There is much more choice if you go between 9am and 6pm, so I would advise visiting for breakfast, brunch, lunch or early dinner. The tapas options are really nice, as is the vegan panini, but unfortunately there is only one dessert option which is a sorbet. Staff are very friendly, and the building is interesting because it used to be a hospital; it feels really grand with very quirky vintage furnishings. The location is a bit out of the way from the main part of the city centre, in an area better known for office buildings so it is popular with office workers for after work drinks.
