The team at The Crown couldn't be more helpful. They've got a very well stocked and reasonably priced bar, the food was good and breakfast was very tasty. If I had to nitpick I'd say the room I stayed in (room 12) was a little tired but it was very good value and very comfy with plenty of space for me. We ate there oe evening in September, the sea bass with it's sauce and ratatouille was delicious. Personnel very pleasant, good service, quality/price correct. Very nice ambience we come back every year for a meal and it's always reliable. Service: 5 Location: 5

Excellent food both at the pub and the breakfast that was included (probably the best included breakfast I 've ever had at a hotel), their staff, the fact they are dog-friendly, the location of the hotel, the facilities and the size of the room, the quietness and the living room with a nice fireplace were all outstanding. Only downside was probably the Wi-Fi coverage in our room and across the hotel was constantly dropping out (we were not much interested in being connected, but that 's the only thing I could think of to make it a 10/10 for the rooms section.
