Potshot - Exmouth

The food is incredible, with generous portion sizes and a wide variety of options. I really appreciate the choice of where to dine – you can enjoy your meal in the pool bar, the bistro, or the beer garden!

I had one of the best meals I've ever experienced here and I highly recommend the stone grill surf and turf. The service was outstanding, thanks to our waitress Tyler! I can't wait to return on our next visit!

I had an incredible surf and turf meal! I've never cooked my own food right in front of me on a 400°C stone before. I can't wait to bring that experience back to Melbourne and share it with my friends and family.

The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. They provided bath towels and pool towels, and there was cold air conditioning (though it was quite loud), a bar fridge, and a tea/coffee maker in the room. The bathroom was updated, but the rooms themselves could use some refurbishment; the furniture was quite worn, and the air conditioning was noisy. Overall, it was typical motel accommodation. The grounds were well-kept, the pools were clean, and parking was convenient. The housekeeping staff was friendly, welcoming guests with smiles. While the food in the bistro was delicious, the menu choices were limited, and there were no options for supplements or modifications. The only vegetable option was a salad that looked more like a garnish. The beer garden had a relaxed atmosphere, but the furniture definitely needs replacing, as many of the rattan pieces were falling apart. The bar and service staff were friendly and efficient, but the reception staff could benefit from some customer service training, as their service was average. Overall, I would consider staying here again, primarily for the convenience of its location.

I had a disappointing experience at Eat. The raw shrimp was unappetizing, and the steak was so salty it was like eating seawater. It felt like the chef went a bit overboard with the seasoning. Unfortunately, I ended up feeling unwell afterward. On a positive note, the service was great, and the woman at the register was lovely. However, the chef really needs to ease up on the salt!
