Royal Oak - Eydon

Unfortunately, the Saturday BBQ experience did not meet expectations. The pub itself has a charming appearance, but the food was lacking in quality, which was disappointing. Overall, it feels like a missed opportunity. Ratings: Food: 1, Service: 3, Atmosphere: 3.

I arrived for lunch only to find out that the restaurant was closed for renovations. I really wish they would keep their website updated!

Very picturesque pub in a lovely little village. Very quiet when we went so we sat in the courtyard which was a great way to get out of the sun. Olive and bread starter was great, chips and onion rings were really good and the portions were huge! Chicken wings were a bit odd as they were battered. Staff were a bit busy watering plants and having lunch so took a while to get their attention but once we did they were really friendly Food: 4
