Great shot of espresso, good cup of batch brew drip, but I let it cool down for best taste. Large space with plenty of seats inside and out.

Delicious coffee- even their decaf! Amazing pastries. Cool atmosphere with tons of seating. Cute location in downtown Martinez. We’ll be regulars here!

The best coffee and service in the Bay Area. I dont know how they do it, but this is the best coffee shop I have ever been, and I have been in a LOT. The freshly roasted coffee, the flavor variety, the service, the environment, the vibe, the folks behind the counter, the avotoast, the banana bread, I can just go on and on, everything is just stellar! If I had to be very picky, the only two things that I could suggest is: a) to have a more standardized operating schedule, I always have to check whether they are open or not, and b) some of the pastries are not always fresh, especially the chocolate croissant and the Kouign-amanns. I would still give this place 6 our of 5 stars though!

Cool location but the coffee was terrible! Waited 30 minutes in line and another 20 minutes after ordering because they forgot to make my cup!
