Somehow, Kim keeps everything happening solo. Not high service or haute cuisine, but good solid home-style Filipino and Japanese dishes in a modest setting. We 'll be back to work our way through the menu or assemble a bigger group for broader sampling.

We happened upon this unassuming storefront looking for ramen. We were greeted by a kind woman who was so lovely and pleasant to talk to. We ordered chicken karaage and miso ramen. The chicken karaage was possibly the best chicken I’ve ever had. The ramen was delicious and so filling. The pork in the ramen was by far the most delicious, tender pork I’ve ever eaten. I definitely hope to come back and I recommend this restaurant highly!

Love this place. The owner runs it herself and charms you the moment you enter. She's very sweet and everything she cooks is a serving of nostalgia and comfort with every bite. I came with five other friends and we shared a big serving of KareKare which reminded me a lot of what my Papa serves at home. My family is from Cebu so it was such a pleasant surprise. For my own meal, I ordered the Spicy Cod Roe Spaghetti that I haven't had since before the pandemic in a Japanese speakeasy in NYC. The owner gave me a bigger portion and happily told me to share with everyone. It was so creamy with a little kick. I ate the whole thing. During our whole stay there, we all exchanged stories and it just felt so homey. Definitely coming back with more family and friends. What a treat!
