Mikuni Japanese Restaurant And Sushi Bar

The food was delicious. The sashimi portions were small, but each one contained three pieces instead of two, which was a pleasant surprise. The sashimi combo included octopus, a dish I had never tried before and wouldn't have been brave enough to order on its own, but it was surprisingly delicious. The nigiri was standard but tasty. The zigzag soft shell crab hand roll was amazing. It's no wonder the restaurant was busy on a Friday at 4 pm.

This restaurant is fantastic - I have been a loyal customer since they first opened. My daughter only eats sushi from here, as it is very fresh with beautiful sauces and an excellent menu. I appreciate that they keep their prices reasonable unlike other sushi restaurants, but because they are Mikuni, they don't need to. The seared sea steak is outstanding.

The food at this restaurant is delicious. I particularly enjoy the sunomono salad and gyoza, while my wife prefers the goer pork. The Iron Chef combo is also a favorite of mine. The staff does a fantastic job with all of their dishes. What truly stands out about their service is how they handle mistakes. In these busy times, errors are bound to happen but they always correct them promptly and make sure to take care of it. While flawless service is wonderful, true customer service shines through in how mistakes are handled. We have been loyal customers of the Fair Oaks Mikuni since it first opened and have always had a great dining experience. Thank you for all the years of delicious meals!
