They took our protein and dessert orders, provided us with helpful information, and directed us towards drinks and salads. They even took our phone number and texted us when our protein orders were ready—what a great use of technology! Once we had our salads and drinks, along with cutlery, we headed to the dining room. There was lively music playing, featuring hits from the 70s and 80s, and everyone seemed to be having a wonderful time! There was a large grill area where they prepared salmon and steaks. After finishing our salads, I received a text notifying us that our protein was ready! We identified ourselves, and the staff presented our protein selections, asking us to choose our sides, which included baked or roasted carrots and macaroni and cheese. After they loaded our plates with our choices, we moved to the right, where a grillmaster placed our protein on top. The entire process was efficient and well-organized, and it appeared that everyone was quite pleased. Lastly, for dessert, we went to a separate small building where we provided our names again. We had a selection of six or seven different desserts, including cheesecake and ice cream. Overall, it was a delightful experience!
The entrance to this restaurant is through a fascinating old gold mine tunnel! Once inside, guests are greeted by a variety of booths and a spacious dining area. The food was incredibly appetizing; we ordered a salmon dish and a basket of cod. They also offered the most delicious sangria. The only downside is that they aren't open year-round and have closed for the season.
The experience was enjoyable overall. However, some of the side dishes were served cold, and the main courses lacked flavor. While it wasn't terrible, I believe it was only worth about half of what they charge. The transportation to the restaurant felt more like a tourist bus, which was disappointing.
A fairbank tradition. lachs was very good. very family-friendly. also a area and special menu, for them fur babys. home parking.
Halibut Did not taste like Halibut, halibut was a see-through color and not the white of cooked Halibut. Maybe old? Frozen too long? No taste. Mac and cheese wasnt fresh and had been sitting too long, potatoes burned and no flavor. Now the desert( not poctured had been sitting uncovered WAY WAY too long. Completely dried out! The premixed drink was ok, wine was cheap and tasted like it sat out and soured. My first time here, ive lived here 11 years and im completely disappointed in the lack of pride in their food. NOT worth the huge amount we spent on our family of 10 to treat them!!
