Arby's - Fairbanks

Great fast food restaurant! The food is high quality, and the service is consistently friendly. It's conveniently located near stores and Walmart. The prices are affordable, and there’s a nice variety on the menu. My husband especially loves the gyros.

The customer service here was quite rude! I asked if I could get some sauce for my loaded fries, and the response I received was a flat "no" because they were low on it. However, the menu clearly stated that the sauce was new, so they shouldn't be running low on it yet. As a first-time visitor, I found this disappointing. Having worked in fast food myself, I know that good customer service means apologizing for the shortage and explaining why you can’t fulfill the request. If I had been told that, I wouldn’t have minded as much. But turning down a customer so bluntly is just unacceptable. They really need to improve their service skills!

I've never been particularly fond of Arby's, but I must say the food is really quite good! I'm giving them a 5-star rating because, although the drive-thru moves slowly and there aren't many staff members, it's important to understand the challenges they're facing. They clearly seem to be quite short-staffed. Many reviews highlight issues with rude customer service and long wait times, but I could see that the team was really stretched thin. JR at the front counter handled his duties impressively, even while being bombarded with questions from customers and juggling food orders and the register. If I were in his shoes, constantly fielding inquiries about things outside my control, I wouldn't blame him for feeling frustrated, and it might be hard to keep a cheerful demeanor. Kindness really makes a difference, and they all deserve it. It's disheartening to see some customers being rude—nobody should have to deal with that. Great work, everyone! Keep it up!

I really enjoy the food here, but the drive-thru wait time was 36 minutes for two beef and cheddars, some fries, and a soda. They were probably short-staffed, and I appreciate that they're open, but unfortunately, I can’t give them five stars because of the long wait.

It's an Arby's, and they're all pretty much the same. The restaurant was clean when we visited, and the indoor seating was in good condition. The curly fries are definitely the highlight of the meal at Arby's.
