Brewsters - Fairbanks

Went with two others, cod dinner just average at best, hamburger better choice. I hve found restaurants in Alaska to be high priced and this was no exception.

Seated promptly, drinks were brought, waiter took our order of appetizers and it was a short time. Steak bits were perfect! Just what we were craving! Will not was my time or going to the Old Steese location again!! Excellent service food!!

We arrived for an early dinner at 4:30 pm, were seated promptly and YES ! asked as we sat if we would like a beverage ! It's like they know that people want to have a sip or a bite while they peruse the menu. The Cubs were on the WorldSeries, and a couple of ladies were using their potty mouths at the bar to voice their opinions on the game, but we sat in the bar because we wanted to sit in the bar. That's what ya get. The apps we ordered appeared very quickly, and our dinner salads were plentiful delicious. One of us wanted weird condiments on the side, and these requests were accommodated without any fuss or malfunction. The staff were friendly and attentive, and our waitress had noticed our coupon and made sure we had slipped it into our bill paying wallet thing so we'd get that credit. Fast, friendly, thorough service. Good food, good value. No cigarette smoke and the TV monitors were a visual enhancement not an auditory assault. For being a restaurant AND a sports bar, it is NOT a loud place. The crowded parking lot is sort of dicey, but people seemed patient and careful. I would go back again.

We have tried Brewsters several diffrent occasions and we've never been disappointed.The food and service were both great.Must try the steak and halibut

I always check TripAdviser for restaurants when traveling. And this time was quite disappointed. The restaurant is old and very worn, and needed cleaned. We had decided to order to go and I was glad we did. As in the Alaska restaurants we visited, the portions were small and expensive.
