Cold Stone Creamery - Fairbanks

I thought my last visit to Cold Stone was five years ago. I ordered a mix of mint and butter pecan, and while it was delicious, the mint flavor was overwhelmed by the butter pecan—it was too strong. The gummy bears I added were sweet, but they were rock hard and impossible to chew.

You can never go wrong with ice cream. They usually have a dairy-free option, but today they had a delicious almond milk ice cream, which was a wonderful surprise! I also tried a chocolate milk ice cream that was perfectly made, and I just couldn't resist it!

I had a decent experience at the restaurant. The service was satisfactory, but I encountered some issues with my bill. My $0 tip was incorrectly processed; I had intended to leave a $8 tip. I wasn't offered any clarification on this. When I spoke with the manager, they seemed uncertain about how to handle the situation and ended up reaching out to the previous owner. At the end, the cashier calculated my payment to be $8 when I tried to use my card. Overall, it could have been better.

Great costume service from the employees. that was very long. the only reason for the 4 stars was because of the waiting period. it seems when I was responsible for the last day. they were very enthusiastic and the beginnings lol! back!

I am alittle curious why the management and owners are okay with having an employee who wears pajamas to work. I would give higher reviews and wanted to give one star for this reason alone. But because the other kids were attentive and awesome I gave it three. I come here frequently and her attitude walking in off whatever break was as bad as her appearance. If she cared as much about her presentation as her hot pink pig tails she might be a promising employee.
