Place has really good food and friendly service, highly recommend trying the variety of great options on the menu!

This place came recommended from friends and we were extremely disappointed. Service was slooooow. Taking over a half hour to get our food. When the food came out it was missing half my order. My order also came out long before my wife's. Once we both received our food: the potato salad had an odd flavor, the wings were cold but had a smoky flavor. The ribs were fall off the bone delicious. The brisket was great as well. The pulled pork mixed well with the sweet bbq sauce and was a delight. Overall, the lackluster service and long wait times hindered our overall experience with this place.

Food was not good. They only thing I enjoyed was the fries and the smoked sausage. I had a pick 3 meats meal. The smoked wings were rubbery and the ribs were dry. Both tasted like smoke flavor was added and the meat tasted reheated. Also it looks like a sit down place but no you have to walk from your table to the cash register to order and pay before you have your meal. Mind you they were not busy so not sure why the two behind the bar could not wait on anyone. I would really not recommend this place.

Reviewing as I sit here. 32 minutes ago I order a burger and fries. Not a special burger. Just a freaking hamburger. Five people that came in after me were served before me. When I finally got food at the 31 minute mark, the fries were older than me. I sent them back with the server upon their arrival. Now my burger will be cold…So the burger was actually the best part. Cooked perfectly, so for all the yelling the bartender/hostess did at Brian, he can cook a burger. He needs to realize when a bun is stale, but…I don’t understand why you must pay as you go…perhaps all the locals at the bar (including the five who were served before me were able to have a tab. I was not.The aforementioned bartender/hostess was so very nice. To everyone else. (Well, she was upset with Brian. I thought she was kind of short with me; I guess because I’d never been there before and didn’t know the drill or maybe she didn’t like my Michigan shirt, but it’s ok. She’ll never see me again.

My husband and I have enjoyed our Saturday evenings here throughout the winter months...food is good and service too. Then we decided to go back last Saturday . A different person was behind the counter and she yelled at us have you ever been here before? Im the only one here so seat yourselves and I will be right with you. We did so and she came over and explained we needed to come up to the bar to order because there wasn 't anyone else there. I told her that we knew the process but had been coming regularly and that the person who waited on us had brought our drinks and food to us. She said well, thats NOT how it 's supposed to be done and glared at me. I said ok, we get it. my husband got up and went to order a couple of beers...she said she would bring them to us. We waited 15 minutes as she waited on others who came in and seated themselves after us and one family who had small children and proceeded to explain what menu items she liked best and they all got their food and beverages while. she kept passing us up...as we sat in the adjacent booth. My husband said let 's go,,,you must have made her mad cause she is ignoring us. I said,..lets give her a few more minutes...maybe she is waiting for us to order dinner we prefer to have a couple of drinks first). He shook his head and said nope, she is ignoring us So--we left. Ashame because we really had been enjoying Saturday nites there. We like to patronize mom and pop places. Now I doubt we will go back.
