My family and I used to eat Angie's when I lived here in the 1980's/1990's. While there were a few changes to decor, the food was FANTASTIC and brought back some good memories!
I absolutely loved this restaurant! The cozy little hole in the wall dining room, with the mural of Greece all around really was a nice touch. The food was delicious, and the gyros were surprisingly some of the best I?ve had in a minute. Prices aren?t insanely horrible, and it?s worth the money. The only thing I would complain about it the slight slowness of the waiters, and the bathrooms were pretty dirty. 4.7/5 Stars
Ordered a chicken souvlaki and gyro sandwich during lunch time, dining in. We should have known this place wasn?t going to be what it used to be since there was no A/C on in the middle of August. The waitress had zero smiles to give and some watered down coke and nasty iced tea that tasted like it was made from powder. The tzatziki was bland, chicken minimal and some sort of watery mixture was poured on top. The biggest atrocity was the pita bread being cold and straight
Had the Gyro sandwich. It's a large portion. Didn't need the fries or could have shared them with my partner. We are stuffed! It was tasty.
