Cantina D’italia - Fairfax

The service and food were excellent. We were in and out quickly on a Monday evening. We ordered the Chicken Piccata and the Chicken Rolatini, both of which were amazing. The Piccata was in a light lemon white sauce with capers, while the Rolatini was in a light rose vodka sauce. Both dishes were served on perfectly al dente homemade pasta. We ended the meal with their homemade tiramisu, which was deliciously soaked in liqueur. Both entrees were accompanied by a tangy dressed house salad, freshly baked bread, and served with real butter. The only downside was being seated close to another table in a mostly empty restaurant.

This non-descript strip mall restaurant, cantina d’italia is my favorite Italian restaurant for some time. I've often dimmed both of them here.

Great place for a hearty Italian food! the waiting and customer service can become a bit slower, as many people are there. but overall would recommend. eating.

Eating here is always consistently good. the service can be good, but if the food is good, then I forgive myself.

Cantina has been our favorite restaurant for over 2 decades. We go there for both lunch and dinner; they serve a wide variety of excellent Italian fare at all times. The founder/owner is an Italian master chef whose high standards are carried on by his staff several of whom have been with him as long as we have been patrons, and he kept them on at considerable personal cost during COVID. Can't recommend highly enough!
