The carbonara sauce on the other hand was very good. The monkfish was delicious, but they had run out so I was unable to try that. But my biggest problem was the attention the wait staff gave us. They were nice enough but when the food came, no offer of Parmesan cheese over the pasta, and had to ask for our water, and drinks to be
A nice little and humble restaurant that has some of the best Italian food I ever had in the USA!! I specifically had the gnocchi with pesto and it was heavenly!! The sauce was creamy, very flavorful, tasted like freshly made pesto, and smelled fresh too!! The gnocchi was tender (in a good way) and were so soft!! The servers we also very nice!! Over all this place is amazing for the quality of the food without the insane prices!!
Our favorite local Italian restaurant. A neighborhood staple; wonderful family-owned place. The mussels and home made pastas are our go-to items.
Loved it! We ordered Spaghetti Carbonara (bacon) and the Linguini Vongole (clams in white sauce). The spaghetti was fantastic-creamy but light. The bacon was flavorful and not oil or salty. The vongole was so tasty. It?s the dish I seek to order when eating Italian out. The salads were very nice too. I?m so glad to have finally made it here. Both meals were less than $20. Service was top notch. Thank you!!
The food is amazing and tasty. It?s cozy restaurant with authentic atmosphere and generally welcoming people. There is only 1 ?but?, and it is our waiter. I have never seen the grumpiest and rude waiter. Never smiled once, and acted as if we?re doing him a favor by coming to the restaurant. That service left bitter taste, but overall the food was great. Next time we come, we will just ask for another waiter.
