Contribuisci feedbackI always appreciate it when vegan options are clearly highlighted, especially online. I tried two different types of dosai, and they were both delicious!
I took it as a positive sign that many of the other customers were speaking Hindi. I highly recommend this place to any vegetarian looking for delicious food. I tried the aloo palak with naan, and it deserves a solid 5 stars!
However, it’s not the most vegan-friendly place. I’ve read some reviews that suggest otherwise, but when I called earlier to confirm what vegan options we could expect at the buffet, the person on the other end seemed quite confident, mentioning there would be two or three options. When we arrived, I started exploring the vegetarian buffet and asked one of the servers about the vegan items. He didn’t seem very sure, so I asked another server for clarification. He also appeared uncertain, and there was a lack of consistency in their responses. I hoped to speak with a manager for clearer information, but again, the count of vegan-friendly options didn't match what I had previously been told. Items that were supposed to be vegan were sometimes revealed to contain a bit of milk. In the end, all three staff members pointed out the same few options, which were primarily rice. We were very disappointed. If we hadn't been in a rush for a date, we might have taken the time to carefully review the menu... or chosen to eat elsewhere.
They were in many Indian restaurants where they cross the menu and decide what to order. if they are like me, they want to order 2 or 3 of the escaped because they are so different in aromen, but they want several somehow. her solution is here: affordable lunch buffet that is the bomb. ask them what is vegan, or check the menu itself to compare. the menu is generous in vegan items plentiful. it's nice not to worry. my favorite vegan Indian foods are all here, because really, I like only dosas, suppen (sambar,! curries and tamarindensauce). the suppers are wonderfully correct, but tasteful. the rice is not as exciting as it could be, but beautiful for simple white rice. If they want more taste, they go for a biryani or rice dish. the curries and entrees are unique for the buffet, some are not on the menu so they really get a better deal on the buffet! once again, ask them what is and what is not vegan. they will be happy because there are many choices that are vegan (about 75% of the about 20 choices .
I enjoyed the buffet; not a large selection, but more than enough me (perhaps 10 dishes). Good value, tasty food.
