Jacks - Fairfield Bay

The food at this restaurant is fantastic and they offer the lowest gas prices in the area. However, the staff appear unkempt and it can be difficult to receive a greeting when entering. Sometimes it is a challenge to get served because they are often chatting in the back. They may appear to ignore you, but if you are able to get someone's attention, the service is good.

Food is as bad a the place looks. Will not buy gas there either.

Do not miss this hidden gem located inside a gas station. The food is cooked to order and is fabulous. If you are looking for a true southern breakfast, this is the place to go.

Not sure what has happened over the last couple of years but I've been disappointed with this place. Used to be good and fresh and clean but things have gone downhill.

Surprisingly, I have started to appreciate but not love Jack's. With limited options in town, I have given it multiple chances and have updated my opinion. The locals are friendly and the food is decent. Fortunately, there have been no more hair issues since my first visit.
