Bonchon - Fairfield

Ordered food from here. My husband and kids loved the food the first time, so I spent almost $100 the next time. The drumsticks were not cooked throughly, so we had to throw the food away. Waste of money. Didn't order from there since.

We arrived around 10:20pm when they close at 11pm, as we came from of town. Ricardo was our server and treated us like we were the first guests of the day. Extremely friendly, gave recommendations, and was super attentive and hospitable. Food came out super fast and was super delicious. We love the food as it is, but he was such a cool dude we will be back to see him as well! 10/10!

This chicken hit different. That Soy Garlic definitely does it. Pure Crunchy Fire. This place accommodates your flat or drum preference. I got all flats and fries I was happy. This place is a must Eat. Go check it out....

Been ordering to go orders for years at Bonchon. Used to drive from Fairfield county up to the one in New Haven but was ecstatic when they opened up one in Fairfield. Was always delicious but something has happened as of summer of 2023. Spicy flavor is now no longer double fried and oil-less and the chicken is no longer that authentic spicy flavor. Seems to be watered down, wet and definitely not spicy and more soy sauce salty if anything. Not sure if they’ve changed chefs or formulas but it is not what it always was. Not good. Thought it was a fluke when I made a large order over Independence Day weekend thinking maybe they were short staffed but have ordered twice to the same soggy chicken wing results that are NOT GOOD. Not going back until they acknowledge some kind of change…

Here I had the spicy chicken and the soy and garlic one .They tasted absolutely like nothing than spicy and they were even raw.I ordered also dumplings, which were pretty good.The service was awful nobody took us what we needed like napkins and other stuff. I left a tip just because the woman at the register was nice
