She proceeded to explain that they had been using low-quality crab meat but had recently switched to a better quality—though they only prepare their crab every other day. I expressed that I expect fresh crab or fish in my sushi, and eating old crab is unacceptable. The manager was quite rude, stating she wouldn’t help me and wouldn’t make fresh crab just for my order. In fact, she told me not to come back. Thank you, manager; I certainly won't be returning for what I consider the worst sushi experience ever. This is definitely not worth my money.
The spicy chicken teriyaki rice bowl and the smoked salmon sashimi are absolutely fantastic—definitely a perfect 10! I will definitely return for more. Food: 5/5
The house rolls were fantastic, but the vegetarian rolls were quite plain and only half the size of the house rolls. I suppose that's why they were priced lower. Overall, I’d rate the food a 3 out of 5.
Found this place by absolute chance and I ordered 2 items that were both fresh and delicious.The cashier was very friendly and helpful. This will be my new go-to when I'm in Fairfield, can't wait to try their sushurrito and other items, their menu is big.
