Wonderful people and wonderful food. When you get in, you're really like family. I was a customer for years before I worked in college for a few years. The employees are so sweet and the customers who even come half regular will become the staff. One of the chefs is the owner and he cares to ensure that every single piece of food that goes out of excellent quality. Once a year at St. Patrick's Day, they make the corn and cabbage flour for the roots of the Irish heritage that holds and operates the business.

A decent breakfast place, many memories and history here. AC bleeding so cold eggs were served frozen under one minute

This is a fantastic breakfast kitchen. My friend got the meat lover Omelett and said it was the best Omelet he ever had. I got the burrito and it was delicious. The service is somewhat slow, but this is expected in a small city restaurant. Overall service was excellent with friendly staff and she even offered a togo coffee we liked to accept. I'd come back in a heartbeat.

I'm out of town, had many options for breakfast. Nice to have come here! Delicious food homemade bread! Coffee was tasty and had the best chocolate shake. Eating more affordable than my state.

Whenever I travel through different states, I always like to check the different towns for local, family restaurants, and I really hit the jackpot with McAteer’s. Where else can you get homemade sausage, homemade bread, really fresh eggs, and tomatoes for breakfast! Just a very special place, and a very pretty waitress with a classic rock T shirt! Only one concern no credit cards accepted, but the menu is so affordable, it shouldn't be a problem. I will certainly come back if I have the opportunity to stop in Fairmont, WV.
