Perkins Bakery - Fairmont

Our server was amazing, the food was exceptional, the restaurant and restrooms were clean. Overall, a great experience on May 25th.

The food was delicious, but the service was extremely slow. We waited around 30 minutes before our waitress took our drink orders. When she finally did, we quickly placed our food orders but it still took a surprisingly long time to receive our meals. Despite being very friendly, the waitress seemed to be moving at a leisurely pace, even though the restaurant was not very busy - we arrived at 10 o'clock.

The service at the restaurant tonight was horrendous. We waited for at least 20 minutes before we were even seated. The group that came in after us was told that they couldn't be served, but we were still seated because we had patiently waited. Once seated, we waited another 20 minutes for someone to take our order. Finally, a server came over to inform us that they were unable to serve us any food. We were extremely disappointed after waiting for an hour in the lobby and at our table. If they had communicated earlier that they couldn't serve us, we would have gone elsewhere. The staff seemed to ignore us as they passed by multiple times. The way we were treated after waiting patiently was absolutely unacceptable. We had to rush to order and eat before they closed. I would give this restaurant a zero-star rating if I could, this level of service is simply unacceptable.

It was nice to be able to go into a restaurant and be service right away. I was with my parents and we were offered drinks right away and within 5 minutes, the waitress was back to take our food order.Our food was delivered in the right amount of time and everything came out hot and fresh. The portions for the salad and the shrimp meal were extremely generous. I don't think I have ever seen such a huge portion of fries as a side on a meal as I did for this meal. The fries alone could have been a meal!Generally in times when prices are much higher than normal for restaurants to purchase, one would think the portion sizes would go down on meals. This wasn't the case here.Overall pleased. The only disappointing thing was that it took our server longer than normal to check back when we were finished to give us our check so we could be on our way.

Suuuuuper good breakfast! I need to eat here more often. Katelyn was a super nice, made sure we were happy with the food. Really good service.Ps. If you ever see this sorry if I butchered your name.
