Casa Larga Vineyards - FAIRPORT

I went to the wine shop to pick out a gift for a friend. I'm not a red wine drinker, so I had no clue what kind of red to get. The nice sales staff took the time to help me pick out a few different ones. She was very sweet and bubbly. Great customer service!

I loved my visit to Casa Larga Vineyards. The warm, inviting service from David who tended a company Christmas party I attended this past week was absolutely fantastic. The food was outstanding! The service truly was quick, kind, and tentative. I could have eaten my weight in the Black Forest Cake. Sadly, I did not get to see the view to the vineyard as it was dark upon arrival. I did however throughly enjoy the incredibly beautiful Chandeliers and learning a little bit of history on how Casa Larga got it's start, and what it is today. I hope to return soon and check out the daytime view and for another piece of that Black Forest Cake!

While I think it is really cool that this brewery is right in Fairport, I don't think their wine is anything special. I did their Riesling tasting, which was three different kinds, and while it was fine, I've definitely had better. I would go here again, but it's definitely not my favorite winery.

Staff was great and very helpful. Good wines. We 'll be back... Hopefully in warmer weather. The only issue we had was that they use Pinesol to clean the tables and it was very off putting . It made it a little difficult with tasting the wines!

The wine selection is fantastic, and the tasting area is lovely! Lou was incredibly knowledgeable and had a wonderful, friendly demeanor.
