I ordered a takeout meal for my family of five and was not disappointed. We have never dined in this place before but we will be back. The service for takeout was absolutely gold, and we are so thankful for the kind treatment and exceptional food. The beef fried noodles are AMAZING. Loved the dumplings. Lots of flavor. Everything was clearly freshly made and I think more authentic than you'll find at other places. Be prepared for slightly greasy dishes because everything is coming fresh off the stove. Again it's not like american mall takeout- it's better.
We enjoyed our dinner. They have a good variety of dishes. Service was very good. The main complaint is that we were there in winter time (32 deg F outside), and it was a little chilly in the dining room. If you go in the winter, bring a sweater.So when you enter, the waiter hands you menu pamphlets and a pen. So we sat down and started writing the two-digit codes like M7 in the margin of the menu.The waiter brought us plastic bottles of water, plates, silverware etc, and two tiny tea cups on saucers. In a few minutes he returned with a pot of hot tea and poured it for us, then left it on the table. We showed him where we had written the codes. He nodded and took the menu back to the kitchen.They do not serve any alcohol.They bring out dishes when they are ready. That's why it is fun to order more than you intend to eat. The items come and you both can try it as they arrive while it is hot. Be sure you ask the waiter for extra spice, and he will bring a little cup of very hot spicy sauce to zip things up if you like spicy food.We liked everything, some dishes more than others. My favorites were the lamb and carrots and the spicy beef and broccoli. The fungus salad was pretty fun. It is thin strips of zucchini with floppy thin mushrooms in a sauce.The bill was pretty reasonable. We will go back in the future.
Over alldisappointing.sesame tofu had a sad, burnt flavor and no sesame garnish.curry, quite flavorless, yellow gold water.soup, also flavorless, with very overcooked noodles.fried salty chicken.a questionable beef dish …and finally heavy salty greasy pork buns.did i mention ?…disappointing .
Really enjoyed my takeout the other night. The dumplings buns are phenomenal. Wonton soup is very different from others around here but in a good way. Enjoyed the noodle dishes. Great food!
