Its a Restaurant in Goel Complex, Opposite BBD University on Faizabad Road, Easy to Reach but a bit Out of the City , Mostly filled with Students contains all the Dishes which Students like to Have , From Chinese to North Indian everything is in there Menu , So you ve a Variety to choose from Its very Reasonable. *Lemme make a Mark in the very Begining, This is a Perfect example of VFM Restaurant , The best in its Category. As it was very near to Saraswat Dental College We the Engg Students of Sarawati Keep visitng the Dental College for events , So In search of good Food we got this Place which became our Adda for sitting whenever we go there ; ..... i ve been there Thrice i guess Its not among the Restaurants where one goes for Ambience , It has a Decent space for Dining, Good enough for its Category ..... For Me Ambience : 3* We Ordered : Tea Bread Omelette Chicken Do Pyaza Chicken Handi Tandoori Roti Cold Drinks My Fav : Everything is Good Chicken Do Pyaza (Must Try Tea Bread Omelette was good , nothing bad about it , Just the way it should be , You can enjoy your breakfast here , My Breakfast Costed Me Rs. 30, Sitting in an AC restaurant and ving a good time with Friends ..... For Me Tea Bread Omelette ...... 3.5* Chicken Do Pyaza Chicken Handi : Its definately not authentic but Tastes really Good, a perfect blend of Flavours, A must Try , The Dishes costed Rs 70 for 2 Pieces i.e. Half Plate ....... For me Chicken Dishes : 4* Service was as expected in such a category of restaurant ...... For Me Service : 3* *I want to give this Place a 3.75* but thats not an Option. *The Review is based on the Dishes i ve Tried, Cant Comment on other Dishes . *Cant Comment wheather they serve Authentic Dishes or not . Cheap food Ok ok food Try the aloo paratha..! I bet you 'll be flat in one :P The plain parathas are awesome too!! Masihaa for students at the end of the month :P
I being a Step In loyalist, could never develop a liking for this place, however this review is based on a couple of times I visited (read: forced to visit) this cafe. 1- The place does not match up to the level of warmth one receives at Step in 2- The food is an acquired taste here. Similar to Step in, Bombay has its own loyal customers whose taste buds find their food good; I never liked it though. Bombay most of the time serve stale food that is re-cooked and that's the worst thing about them. The curries lack a distinct taste and on Saturday eves when there is weekly mess off, daal and paneer both tastes the same ! The only upside of this place is that it has a better ambiance vis-a-vis Step in cafe, but that barely matters for students, does it ? Hence, I would recommend to prefer Step in over Bombay; and if you are willing to shed some extra dough for even better food then move to Coffee hut (if it still exists).
Its located near BBD and have visited here some time back. these type of restaurant prevail easily ,even by giving average to low quality food , since they will going to have students as there customers , who are disappointed with low quality mess food. so it was very much clear from first look that, what owner was upto , yet I decided to give a try to paneer paratha , which was average and less cooked. so its just one time go here.
